Baby Cashmere is obtained from the first shearing of puppies within 12 months of life. The result is just 30 grams of fiber of extraordinary fineness and softness. It measures only 13.5 microns (one micron is equal to one millionth of a meter ). Harvesting takes place only when the climate becomes milder, in late spring, and the goats no longer need the under fleece that protects them from the rigors of winter, in full respect of the cycles of nature.
